Ngapali Beach is the most beautiful beach among the beaches in Myanmar, 7 kilometers west of Thandwe, is situated along the Rakhine coastal line facing the Bay of Bengal. This beautiful beach is easily accessible by flight about 45 minutes from Yangon via Thandwe daily and there are also direct flights from Heho and Nyaung Oo to Ngapali. By car about 14 hours drive along the Rakhine Yoma mountain range. It is said to have been named by Italian mercenaries for whom the stretch of sand brought home memories of Naples (Napoli) in Italy. This unspoiled beach is extending over 3 kilometers harmoniously with the blue sea, white sand and the lovely sun. The sea is cobalt blue, without any dangerous marine animals and clean. The water here is transparent and the sea is tranquil and waving palm trees.

The beach area surrounds many small islands those can be visited with the boat on day trips. Apart from the normal beach activities, excursions like visiting the small fishing villages and local markets; Bicycle tours can be arranged to visit the nearby villages to observe their dry fish and shrimp industry and a boat trips to the magnificent offshore islands can be experienced in Ngapali. There is also the 18-hole Golf Course just 15 minutes drive from the hotel to fulfill the taste of beach golfers. The best time to visit this beach during October and May of every year.
