Taryaw

Kalaw day return trekking starts in the morning from your hotel. Firstly, it will be about 3 hours trekking to Ywathit Village. Sightseeing in the village will be a highlight of the tour and continue to authentic Palaung tribe village named Taryaw for another 20 minutes. Things to see at the village are Palaung ladies with their traditional costumes, tealeaf plantation and making cheroot raping using cordial leaves baking on the oven. The best part of this village is to see Palaung traditional Long House where 6 to 7 families are staying together. After that, trekking to View Point for about 45 minutes. It lies one of the highest points of the Kalaw region. We will stop at View Point to have lunch at a small Nepali Restaurant by enjoying the panorama view and beautiful scenery. After lunch we will make trekking in the forest mountain to a lake which is called “Yae Aye Kan”. This is a natural lake and main water supply for Kalaw. After take a short break on the bank of the lake, we will trek back to Kalaw among the forest and through the farms. In the evening, we will arrive at your hotel in Kalaw.
