Bago Tour

Meet with your guide at the hotel’s lobby around 08:00, and head to Bago. 50 miles and a 2-hours’ drive from Yangon. Bago, also known as Pegu was the capital of the Mon Kingdom in the 15th century and you spend the day exploring with your guide, learning about the history and myths of the city.

Visit Four Seated Buddha Images, Kyakhat Wine Monastery, Local Market, Shwemawdaw Pagoda, and enjoy lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit the Palace of Kambawzathadi, Hninthargone Pagoda, and Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha. Drive back to Yangon in the evening. On the way, stop at Htaukkyan Township to visit the Allied War Cemetery and transfer to your hotel.
