Bagan Day Tours

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the jetty in Old Bagan, crossing the river by boat and continuing by pick-up to Tant Kyi Taung. Perched on a hilltop, this pagoda dates back to 1059 AD, and is surrounded by 32 elephant statues facing all directions. Explore the compound including visit to the Glass Monastery with the possibility to talk with the resident monks.

Afterward, continue by boat on the river, exploring some of the sandbanks and local farms. Watching life along the riverbanks and enjoying the sunset view of the Ayeyarwaddy River itself. Return to Bagan and enjoy lunch at local restaurant.
